Technology: The power of the sun

Ionization is the gaining or losing of an electron of a molecule. It is the power of the sun and its UV rays that create ionization in nature. This naturally occurring process continually refreshes outdoor air by oxidizing odors, toxins, and microorganisms.

Creating ions takes the power of the sun. However, current air purifiers that use ionization struggle to produce ions strong enough to neutralize odors, VOCs, or microorganisms in an environment.
